It's Almost July Already?

Wow, it’s almost July already! Seems like time just flew by this month.

I’ve been busy renovating my room. Well, house. Kind of.

We wanted to repaint our rooms and that kind of led to changing out light fixtures, replacing sinks, installing new fire alarms…

Is this feature creep?

Anyways, I had my room repainted to a Navy Blue. Well, it wasn’t supposed to be Navy Blue, it was supposed to be a dark grey blue. But once the paint dried and I saw how the room looked…it’s not so bad. I’m glad it’s more blue than I thought it would be.

Anyways, since I was repainting my room, I thought might as well fix all the things that was annoying me and get new furniture and a few fun stuff.

Here are all the things I bought:

• a standing desk
• guitar wall mounts
• new light fixture: pendant light from IKEA
• new speakers
• bookshelf
• air purifier

So far, I am LOVING it. This room feels a lot more like me now.

I think the only thing missing is a shelf or peg board near my door, I miss having a easy place to put my keys and wallet.

I already had shelves mounted on my wall, but I had them moved to the wall above where my desk would go instead. That way, my guitars could be mounted on the wall where the shelves used to be. If that made sense.

I really wish I had done this earlier.
